All my regular readers know that when I travel, I barely use makeup. I just carry all things necessary. I really don’t believe in putting on lots of makeup while you travel, instead save it for shopping! Travelling time should be the real-me-time and therefore, put only essentials and base on your face instead of caking it up. Talking of which, I would like to share that 1 product on which I rely on, when I travel. It’s MAC Hyper Real Foundation.
MAC Hyper Real Foundation Review:
The shade I use is NC 20. My complexion is wheatish to fair and skin type is oily to normal.
I don’t really require anything else when I put this on. It’s been 2 years since I started using the same, and now I am quite addicted to it.
Though I keep on trying other brands’ CC and BB cream range but nothing so far has matched up to the quality that MAC provides. Since the time I have started using MAC products, I can say I have become a fan of it. May it be MAC lipsticks or MAC compact or this one, I really like it.
This foundation by MAC is long lasting, non-sticky and perfect for girls with oily to normal skin type. It stays up to 8 hours. it gives a matte finish on face making it look naturally glowing. The best thing about this foundation is, you can wear it not just at night, but also during that daytime as it contains sunscreen too.
How I use it?
I wash my face and put some cream or moisturizer. Currently I am using Fair and Lovely face cream for it. After putting the cream on, I put tiny dots of this foundation all over my face (3 dots on forehead, 1 on nose tip, 2 on each cheek bones, 3 on chin and, 2 at the eye bag area each and 2 at eye lids each). Then I blend it using my finger tips and make it cover all of my skin. I do it with light hands and make sure all of face is covered. Then I put a thin layer of compact powder and done! Once face is done, I put kohl and lipstick. Well, this is what exactly I do when I travel or how I do my daily makeup.

But don’t buy it from ebay.in as what they are selling is a dupe. I ordered 1 at a very cheap price, for 600 rupees but when I got it, I was really disappointed and had to return it.
You can trust Amazon & Sephora for the same. I always get mine from there! If you can also visit MAC store and get it from there. If you are buying for the first time, buying from the store will be a good option as then you can try on different shades of it and pick what suits your skin stone the best. If you have a knack in selecting the shades by looking at the photos, then get it from amazon as you will get good discount too!
