Well… Its has been around 4 days since I started this new journey. I’ve joined a new college- Amity University for my Masters in Journalism & Mass Communication. Yes, I switched my line from tech to arts. God knows how I am gonna cope up with the subjects but I will try!
Place is really very happening and exciting… People around me are so busy doing their works and that work seems so exciting that I always feel like joining them! Everything is so professional, may it be photography or film shooting or writing… Its like living like a dream! Being at a place where everything is of my hobby, my choice – Music, writing, photography, creativity!
1st day was not-so-good! Obviously, this is my first time, away from home, living in a hostel with unknown people around me. I was nervous and scared, to talk and speak. I am glad that I was in touch with my old friends the entire day.
Also, my roommate is pursuing B. Tech and it’s her second year. Her name is Neha and we hardly talked. Today also, just Hi-Hello! I don’t know how I am going to live with her.
2nd day i.e. today, was quit exciting! Actually, there was a kind-of TALENT-SCREENING session for us, the freshers. We had options to act, sing, dance, show magic tricks and do whatever we want to do! Though, dance (obviously my forte) but I don’t know what happened to me that time, I chose to SING!
No doubt, I sing but not like that. I was a part of school choir and that’s the only singing performance I have given. I don’t know why I chose to sing despite the fact that I am a pro in dancing and have won so many competitions. Maybe as I am new here, so I wanted to TRY something new ,something Which was not my FORTE but just a hobby!
Though I did not win anything but surely made a sweet memory! I still can’t believe the smile on my professor’s face when they said ‘really nice haan!’ 🙂
This new place has one more thing which is really very interesting. Yaha pe time ka pata he nahi chalta!
Seriously! Okay, now I gotta go! We are going to the terrace as it’s really a nice weather. And you know what? That’s the best part of my hostel- terrace is open 24×7! I found a my-place here and I am happy about it.
Amity, you better be good to me! Fingers crossed!
