Fab Bag – Review & Price – Monthly Beauty Subscription

You must be wondering what is a Fab Bag? Well, Fab Bag is a monthly subscription service for women as well as men, where you get a trendy (and cool for men) vanity bag containing 3-4 sample sized makeup and beauty products from new as well as known brands. And sometimes, you get free gifts too! Like this month, I got a scarf.

It’s been a week since I got my fab bag, and I have used the products.

Here’s the list of product that I got in my Fab Bag of this month:

A beautiful printed scarf
Bellapiere Mineral Foundation-Cinnamon

Sally Hansen Natural Nail Growth Activator with a foldable Filer
Fab Post Magazine
Kronokare Body Lotion and Shower Gel Kit

All in all, it’s a good beauty subscription service in India. Prices are very nominal. For 1 month its INR 599/-, for 3 months its INR 1499/-, for 6 months its 2699/- and for 12 months its INR 4799/-

My Review:

There are so many monthly subscription services started these days. I have also tried Sugar Box Subscription service and a few more as well. I feel fag bag is the cheapest of all. But the only provide sample sized products, that are okay to use when you travel. I felt the major drawback is these products you get to try are mostly from new and home-grown brands. At times, these does not really suit the skin. And it also means that you do experiments on your skin and hair every month with new products, that I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Simply because, I don’t like to experiment on my skin with new products. For instance, the Kronokare body lotion I got in this month’s fab bag did not suit my skin and it started to itch badly. The foundation from BellaPiere also did not match my skin tone. So, I would say, if you’d like to take risk with your skin and hair with new products EVERY MONTH, then you can surely go for this kind of subscription service!
