Oh my gosh, where do I even begin with Agonda Villas in South Goa? This place is like a little slice of paradise! 🌴✨ From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and serenity of the surroundings. It’s nestled right on Agonda Beach, which is hands down one of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve ever seen. The golden sand, the gentle waves, and those stunning sunsets – pure magic!
I recently had a chance to stay at the Agonda Villas in South Goa. I was travelling with my 10yo nephew. I was hosted by the property though the review here is unbiased and 100% honest.
The villas are super charming and blend perfectly with the natural environment and the best thing, every villa in this B&B is beach facing.
We arrived at night so everything was dark and I couldn’t see the beach so didn’t really get an idea what the front view actually looks like. But the next morning, waking up to the sound of the ocean was an absolute dream.
The villa was spacious, spotless, and had this lovely rustic vibe with a touch of luxury that made it feel really cozy. It had 1 huge maharaja bed which can easily accomodate 2 adults and 1 kid. The bed was super comfy, and the linens were so soft – we slept like babies every night. Apart from this, the room also had a diwan (single bed) and other amenities like fridge, ac, dressing table, study table, mini bar.

The best thing was a private jacuzzi on the porch, oh I spent so much time in it revising the manuscript of my next book, it was just perfect.
Plus, the private little garden area outside was perfect for lounging with a good book, sipping coffee in the morning, working or just sitting and gazing the beautiful ocean.
One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hospitality. The staff at Agonda Villas are the sweetest! From the moment we checked in, they made us feel so welcome and were always ready with a smile and helpful tips on where to go and what to do. Whether we needed a recommendation for a local restaurant, advice on the best spots to visit, or just an extra towel or a glass of fresh watermelon juice, they were always there, making our stay truly special.
Speaking of food, since it is a bed and breakfast (B&B) they serve only breakfast.
Breakfast by the beach was an experience in itself. Imagine starting your day with the sound of the waves, the cool morning breeze, and a hearty breakfast spread. Since I am a vegetarian I tried Poha, Parantha, English veg breakfast and it was all delightful.
FYI Breakfast is included with your stay.
For lunch and dinner, the staff can either get you menu of nearby restaurants to get food delivered. We preferred walking on the beach and exploring new cafes and restaurants nearby. Not just the beach but even on the road where this b&b is situated, we explored wonderful food places. So, lunch and dinner is surely not the issue here as there are lots of cafes, bakeries and restaurants nearby, walkable distance only.
The location is perfect for exploring South Goa, but honestly, you might not want to leave the villa too often because it’s so relaxing. We spent our days exploring the beach, doing yoga in the morning, a little bit of working (because a writer is never on a holiday), and just enjoying the peaceful vibe. There’s something incredibly rejuvenating about the tranquility and the close connection to nature that Agonda Villas offers.
And the sunsets – oh, the sunsets! Every evening, we made it a point to sit on the beach and watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky with hues of orange, pink, and purple. It was the perfect way to end each day, leaving us feeling grateful and utterly content.
If you’re looking for a serene getaway where you can reconnect with nature and enjoy some quiet time by the beach or if you simply have a dream to stay in a beach villa, then Agonda Villas is the place to be. I left with my heart full, my mind relaxed, and already dreaming about my next visit with my entire family. Highly recommend this little piece of paradise! 💖🌺
