Autumn is here! People often ask me which is my favourite season. When I say Autumn, they feel surprised. I know it is an unusual choice but I am totally obsessed with Autumn. The weather here in India becomes so cozy and beautiful during Autumn.
Meteorologically speaking, Autumn starts mid of September and stays till Mid-November (mostly) till winter starts to take everything over. I don’t say, I don’t like Winters, I do. In fact, there is a viral quote that I wrote about winter – “Winter is not a season, it’s a celebration“, and it was totally from the heart. But I think, it is the Christmas and New Year festivities that makes winter time more joyous and beautiful and obviously, the snowy landscapes (if you get to see some). But Autumn, it is a complete different vibe.
Here are the reasons why I love autumn so much:
- The weather is just perfect and during this season, I feel my creativity and my writing, all become better. I feel re-inspired, re-invigorated and clearer in what I want to do.
- The coziness of the climate fills my heart with joy
- The old leaves fall making way for new beginning. This change in the nature is itself so inspiring. Isn’t it?
- The landscape looks beautiful in yellows and oranges and browns
- Can finally wear boots, tees and denims comfortably, after a long summer and monsoon
- The wind is so pleasing during the evenings. I won’t be wrong if I say Autumn evenings are super romantic! Agree?
- Love to wear socks
- Because of the cozy vibes of Autumn, we feel comfortable and relaxed, though I can’t explain the reason why!
- All the back to back festivals happen, making these months even more beautiful – starting from Navratri till Diwali..
I love to watch halloween or autumn themed movies. I also love to journal during the evenings in this season. Although, I do have night routine which includes journalling, but autumn nights gets me even more creative and I spend time in scrapbooking and crafting apart from daily night journalling.
So, do you like autumn as well?
