All of us have bad habits, be it personal life or professional life. Last night I met a friend of mine is a club. We had good conversation about our professional lives. While talking, he explained how he and many of his friends pretend some things to do at work but actually they don’t! I thought many of you might relate this to their work life too.

Promise yourself you’ll stop browsing social media:
Most of the times we try to stay away from these social media platforms and even block these accounts, but we cannot refrain them for a long time. We will be tempted to see the updates every now and then.
Pretend you know what your boss is talking about:
Most of the times we don’t even know the context that the boss is talking about. We will silently google it before we end up answering something stupid.
Pretend you know what your boss is talking about:
Watching a video during the work time is such a stress buster. But, what if you are caught? Do minimize the screen or ensure that you listen only to the songs.
Take notes at a meeting:
Seriously! Haven’t we left the college days long back? Yes, the bosses demand to take the notes, but do we really do it. We pretend to take notes but I am sure most of us scribble, write a poem, draw and what not.
Be really interested in the photos on your boss’s desk:
Most of us try to show that we are interested in whatever the boss does. Be it the picture that is placed on the desk or the screen saver that he has chosen, we tend to appreciate it. But, do we really mean it?
Know what a pivot table is:
Most of the times it is like hearing for the first time, but if we try to convey that we are experts in dealing with pivot tables, are we?
