9 Days of Navratri Devi Names

Do You Know Why We Celebrate Navratri Festival?

Navratri is celebrated over nine sacred days, with each day dedicated to one of the nine forms of Maa Durga, collectively known as Navadurga. Each form represents a different quality of divine feminine energy, from courage and devotion to wisdom, protection and spiritual strength.

The second day honours Maa Brahmacharini, the embodiment of devotion, discipline and perseverance. Her form reminds us of the strength that comes from patience and dedication.

The Nine Forms of Maa Durga

The nine days of Navratri take devotees through different expressions of Shakti: strength, devotion, courage, creation, motherhood, determination, protection, purity and spiritual wisdom.

Together, the Navadurga remind us that divine feminine energy is not represented by a single quality. It can be gentle and fierce, nurturing and powerful, peaceful and transformative.

May these nine sacred days bring strength to your heart, clarity to your mind and peace to your life.

शुभ नवरात्रि।
