Weekends can be tough time for singles, especially if you had a breakup recently or being single bothers you so much. I personally love to be busy all the time, weekend or weekday. It keeps me sane. It doesn’t depends on what my relationship status. But yesterday, I was talking to one of my mentees and she expressed her concern. She said she is single and weekends hurt her the most as all of her friends are busy going on dates with their respective partners. This triggered me to write this article.
If you are single, engaging in a hobby during the weekends will give you a sense of personal fulfillment and satisfaction. It will allow you to pursue their interests, explore their creativity, and develop new skills. Hobbies provide a sense of purpose and achievement, boosting self-esteem and overall well-being.
Hobbies act as a form of stress relief by providing an outlet for relaxation and diversion from daily life. They allow singles to disconnect from work or other responsibilities and focus on something enjoyable and meaningful. Hobbies can reduce anxiety, improve mood, and promote mental and emotional well-being.
Participating in hobbies can lead to social interactions and the opportunity to meet like-minded people. It can be an avenue for making new friends, joining hobby-specific communities or clubs, and expanding one’s social circle. Engaging in group activities related to the hobby can provide a sense of camaraderie and belonging.
Also, hobbies offer opportunities for personal growth and self-improvement. Whether it’s learning a new skill, expanding knowledge in a particular area, or challenging oneself in new ways, hobbies can foster personal development and a sense of continuous learning.
In this post, I am sharing 21 weekend hobbies for single that won’t cost you much and make you feel happy, keep you engaged and also increase your self-love.
