I have lived in Lucknow for 2 years when I was pursuing MJMC from Amity University. Going back to Lucknow after such a long time was really a good feeling. I was there was a cousin’s wedding. I stayed in Novotel Pune which is in Gomti Nagar area of the city. Gosh! This is the area where I stayed for 2 years as my college & PG both were in Viraj Khand, Gomti Nagar.
And you know what? My college building was visible from the window of my room. Ahh! I know I am being super nostalgic right now but can’t help!
So, I stayed in Novotel Lucknow for 2 nights. The location is of the hotel is really nice and one can easily reach the hotel. Though, it being situated in Gomti Nagar, it is about half an hour drive from the airport. The hotel is situated at a walkable distance from the Sahara Hospital. There is also a shopping complex and a mall within 2 kms of the hotel. This makes the location of the hotel really good, especially if you a tourist.
The property is huge and has 106 well ventilated rooms & suits. I got a supreme king sized room which was simply apt for 2 adults. Here’s my room photos!
The room had all required amenities like TV, AC, Wi-Fi, Tea/Coffee maker, fridge, makeup mirror, office essential, ironing board, money safe etc. I really like the couch setup in my room as it becomes bed, so just in case you are 3 adults, you can simply ask the staff to turn the couch into a comfy bed.
Hotel provides facilities like 24-hour room service, airport transfer facility, concierge service, laundry and dry cleaning service etc.
It also has a roof top infinity swimming pool giving you a view of Gomti Nagar.
Apart from this above shown roof top restaurant which only opens during the evenings, there is The Square, Novotel’s signature restuarant which offers buffet as well as a-la-carta for the guests.
Situated right next to The Square is the bar.
For all the fitness freaks who doesn’t want to miss their workout routine, they can head to the gym which is also situated at the roof top level.
And just in case you want to relax, you can head to the Samayaa Spa for amazing massages.
There is a bakery at the lobby area which serves yummy macaroons, cakes, pastries, sandwiches which can be enjoyed with tea and coffee. The bakery also has a play table which is fab to kill your free time!
Novotel Lucknow is a mix match of luxury & business class hotel. So, it’s not just a 5 star hotel but is also good for business budget travellers. If you require to do some, then you can go to the workstation at the lobby where you can work on mac computers.

All in all, my stay was comfortable and I would definitely give it a thumbs up. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel which offers all amenities and doesn’t cost you stars and moons, this is perfect for you.
