London is one of my favorite cities. It’s in my wish list since I saw the movie Home Alone (Lost in London) and then fell in love with this city all over again when I saw Namaste London. The streets of London light up in the festivities of Christmas and New Year. December is the best time to visit London and I will tell you why?
London turns into a winter wonderland in December. From the amazing Christmas markets to decorated London chapels to beautiful River Thames light show and beautifully decorated Christmas trees. This city has got all things to make the holiday season just perfect.
Also British Airways offers loads of discounts and offers to its customers during holidays, so the holiday becomes more enjoyable!
There are thousand things to do here! But in this post, I am going to share top 5 things to do in London that you must include in your to-do list.
1. The London Eye:
I can only imagine how beautiful the sight of London would be, from the top of London eye during Christmas and New Year. This is indeed the first thing that I will do when in London.
2. Fireworks:
Fireworks on the river Thames at the Christmas and New Year’s Eve is something that everyone should experience it at least once! It is magically beautiful.
3. Shopping:
From the top brands to amazing stores, this city is a heaven for shopaholics. British airways customers can also avail exclusive shopping offers and discounts. This is perfect for people who are planning to do New Year’s shopping in this wonderful city.
4. Warner Bros. Studio Tour:
And if you are a harry potter fan, you must not miss visiting Hogwarts in the snow at Warner bros studio in the city. Oh, it’s perfect time to visit the studio and no less than a dream come true for a potter fan. I am a huge HUGE harry potter fan and this is on TOP OF MY LIST of things to do in London. Recently, one of my friends visited the Warner bros studio and post some photos and God, it was really beautiful. I have grown up watching Harry Potter (yes, this is an exceptional case where I loved the movie more than the book) and this will be my dream come true, if I visit here!
5. Meet the real Santa Clause:
Yes! We can meet the real Santa at ZSL London Zoo during Christmas. Isn’t this a perfect way to celebrate Christmas? I have always been a fan of Christmas and for so many years, I thought Santa Claus was real but my dad used to fill my socks with chocolates. I really really wanted to meet Santa in the Santa Village in the North Pole, but since I came to know about this studio, I am super curious and instantly added this to my wish-list.
I have decided, whenever I will visit London, I will try and travel with British Airways and also in the month of December. I won’t lie but I was so mesmerised after my conference call with this consulting team. It just gave me more curiosity about this city and now I just can’t stop dreaming to visit London.
