Manali is always a treat to visit, whether with friends or family. But this time, I visited Manali with a couple of blogger and team Vivo India for the launch of their new phone. We stayed in Larisa Mountain Resort which is located near old Manali. The name LaRiSa is inspired by Lahul’s local language where La means above, Ri means mountains and Sa means Earth. It is beautiful resort with huge cottages.
Though, from the main road you need to take downstairs to reach to the resort but I’d say totally worth.
The rooms are huge and with big balconies. See! This was my room (or I should say, cottage)
They have buffet as well as the room service. Though I found room service to be a bit slow but the food was tasty.
The premises of the resort is really big and view is amazing. You can enjoy the mountain view right from the balcony of your room.
I also loved the garden with swings, the beautiful cozy library and the kids play room. They also have options to ride bicycle inside the premises and play other games like badminton and football.
The also have their own farm where they grow their own vegetables during the suitable climate.
The best feature about this resort is their apple orchards. Yes! They have their own Apple Orchards and during the season, we can go and pluck the apples from the trees and eat it.
During the night, the resort looks exceptionally beautiful with all the lights turned on.
Though, I found a location to be a bit odd as it was far away from the main Manali city, but it’s suitable for people who just want to go to Manali to relax inside the resort and enjoy some quality time with friends and family.
