1) Practice at least 10 minutes of Pranayam every morning. You can also practice Yoga and perform meditation for a longer time of period. If not this, then go for cycling or jogging for at least 20 minutes.
2) Switch to whole food. Eat lots of vegetables, fruits, grains and say no to non-veg.
3) Avoid salt, instead use herbs and spices in your food to add taste. If you can’t eat your food without salt, then lower the amount of its intake.
4) Avoid sweet dishes. Sweet or sugar decreases the metabolic rate whereas spicy food increases body’s metabolic rate which helps in food digestion.
5) Drink lots of water.
6) Do not skip your meals. Starving yourself is a folly, instead eat healthy.
7) Walk for at least 20 minutes after dinner.
