Call me insane, but I like old-school romance! Ahh don’t think that I am committed or engaged or something… I am still single. But the thing is, I find old-school romance, magical!
These days, people move on from 1 relationship to another just like they people switch from iPhone 6 to iPhone 6 plus.
Yes, this is the truth! And this is the reason why they face so many heartbreaks. Rushing into falling in love never works. Love grows slowly and gradually and with time!
People often misunderstand infatuation with love… and after a month of two, when the infatuation-phase is over they start feeling suffocative which results as a breakup!
|Old School Romance?|
I believe in love! True love… which grows with time. When you start knowing the person so well that you don’t mind waiting for that person to reply while they are busy, you don’t feel jealous because you trust them truly and because you are actually in love with that person, you accept the person despite their flaws.
This sounds so magical, isn’t it? But this doesn’t happens over night or after 1 coffee date or movie dates. It grows with time. It happens when you realize that the person whom you love can not be present with you 24×7 but you know that they are with you… virtually!
I am writing this post because recently I was giving an interview where I shared these thoughts of mine. So, I thought to share with you all too!
One my friends teases me saying that you belong to 90s. Even in my novel Too hard to handle, I have tried to explain the real magic of love and how beautiful old school romance it. It’s sad to see that people these days are forgetting the charm of love. They take love relationships like a burden.
Movies like Pyar ka punchnama 1&2 exaggerate things and make fun, which is so not cool.
Anyways, this was my take on love. And I know, most beautiful love stories are not fast-paced but the ones which grow with time…
I really wonder how people don’t find things like walking hand in hand, going out for coffee, watching movies together, writing letters, singing and dedicating songs, watching the sunset and the stars etc. romantic!
