My breakfast was scheduled at 8:30 A.M. Along with the Regency Club Lounge executive, but I didn’t get up. Ehh! I reached the club lounge at 9:45 A.M when it was almost empty. Well here’s my day 2 experience in Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
Read my DAY 1 experience at Hyatt Regency, Delhi HERE.
Of course, the staff and exec were waiting for me, but I felt a li’l embarrassed (like a college kid, who is late for class). I rushed to treat myself with a juice and fresh strawberries (Ahh! Can’t resist strawberries and watermelons). Also, I couldn’t eat a heavy breakfast because of my spa session right after this.
I had to eat in rush because my session at the Club Olympus was scheduled at 10:00A.M. I reached the Club Olympus at 10:15 AM, where Aroma Therapy expert Dolma was already waiting for me. Before starting my session, she explained few things about the Therapy and few things about my body. She also taught me an easy therapy to reduce negativity at home.
I opted for Rose Aroma Therapy for body and feet. It took around 45 mins. I must say, it was heavenly.
After that, I drank Green Tea and went for Sauna and shower …
and rushed back to my room, to get ready for the much awaited Kingdom of Dreams trip. Read all about my visit to Kingdom of Dreams HERE.
After coming back from Kingdom Of Dreams, and after freshening up, we reached the Polo Lounge. Two words for this lounge- Classy and totally My Kinda! We learned to make few easy peasy cocktails and tasted lots of wine. (No, I didn’t get drunk!). Best of all was Mint Julep or Moscow Mule.
It’s called Mint Julep because the glass I’m holding right now is called as Julep and this drink has lots of mint in it. It also has orange, ginger ale, angostura aromatic bitters and vodka! Also, this glass is freezing cold and one can barely hold it for not more than 5secs.
With Master Chefs, Chef Diego and Chef Marin.
After the cocktail hour, we went to La Piazza where I again met Head Chef Marin and Master Chef Diego. They served us authentic Italian food. And yes, La Piazza is one of the oldest Italian restaurants of India. Even the furniture, paintings etc are antique. We tried Pizza, pasta, risotto, breads and ice cream for our dinner.
We sat and chatted at La Piazza till 1:30 AM. Didn’t want that session to end. Lots more to share, but you’d have to wait for that! You can read the all in all post HERE.
But yes, I didn’t want to come back from there. It was so much fun!
But as they say Every journey has to end. So, next day I grabbed breakfast from Sidewalk and left this beautiful hotel.
P.S: I wrote this post at 3:00 AM, 26 nov 2015! Had to Reschedule it to 11:49 PM to match the date i.e. 25 Nov 2015
