Brahmavart Ghat is situated on the banks of river Ganges. It is about 23 kms away from the main city of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the holiest places situated in the outskirts of Kanpur. It is believed that Lord Brahma used to live here.
Brahmavart Ghat is not only famous for its sacred and religious values, but it is also famous because it is said that Brahmavart Ghat is the center of the Earth. This fact is rarely known to people. Me being a voracious traveler and Kanpur being my home city, discovering Brahmavart Ghat was really a thing of pleasure for me. It is a less explored and undiscovered place, but now as you know about it, I am sure you would love to see the center of the Earth in your own Country!
This surely makes me feel lucky we have the center of the Earth in our country! I have seen people going abroad and updating pictures of places like these and it makes me feel sad that our tourism isn’t promoting ancient, historic and interesting places like these. But no worries, with my blog I will always continue to share lesser known and interesting places to visit from all across the globe.
