Château de Dieppe is a very old castle situated in Dieppe in France. It was constructed in 1188 but unfortunately destroyed in 1195.
The castle was again restored in 14th century by Charles des Marets.
It has been officially classed as a Monument historique since 1862.
The castle is truly a wonderful place to visit. It has flanking towers and lavish green courts that beautifully enhances the look of the castle.
You get to see a panoramic view over the coast and the town.
Today, it is the home of Dieppe museum where you can see old collection of ivories like rosaries, crucifixes, fans, statuettes and snuffboxes.
I love to visit such old forts, castles and museums!! This beautiful and old castle is a perfect way to enjoy the classic, elegant and beautiful French landscape making a place my travel wishlist !!
