Hello Dear Readers!So, I have reached back to Kolkata from my trip to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. I couldn’t stop myself from sharing this post… so, here’s the best places to visit in Andaman & Nicobar Islands! And yes, my trip was SUPER AWESOME! The only problem I faced was network. I could only get Airtel Postpaid network there. Neither Vodafone, nor BSNL or any other was working. But that is one such place, where you don’t feel like using your phone. Its once such place to escape from the usual life and live an entire new life for few days.
What is more amazing than visiting a place like Andaman and Nicobar Island? You can avoid all the hustle and bustle of the busy life and traffic and enjoy the serene and scenic beauty.

The Radhanagar Beach Havelock Island is one of the tourist attractions which will keep your senses and mind fully relaxed by the soothing views of the sun and the greenery all around the place.

The Jolly Buoy Island in Port Blair is an unusual experience to discover how the land mass is surrounded by all its sides with the water masses. It is a real bizarre for people like us who has only read the concept and definition of islands in the geography books.

The Neil Island reminds me of the famous story of the coral reefs. The red coral which is used to make the red stone to be worn for healing and recommended by astrologers is found here, in this island. The colorful and lovely with beauty and magical experience keeping your eyes stay long seeing the view of the corals swaying and dangling below the water surface.

Beside the island attractions there are also the famous cellular jail at Port Blair which we had seen in movies. You must have heard about ‘Saza-e-Kala-Pani’ in old movies or while studying history of India and British rulers. This cellular jail is that Kala-Pani jail where the prisons were sent by British rulers. Gosh, this Jail looks scary during the sunset. And yes, don’t forget to enjoy the light and sound show in cellular jail. You’ll get to know the history and happenings of Port Blair and that place.

The Elephant Beach, Kala Pathar Beach, Laxmanpur Beach and Bharatepur beach are also some of the other beaches which had pictographic real views to spend your entire day and relax yourself to reenergize every cell of your body and mind.

The Rose and Smith Island is a mind blowing site where the sunrise and sunset can make you realize your dreams come true. There are other islands like coral island, viper island etc. where you can enjoy snorkeling and under water diving. I went for snorkeling and I loved the experience! Ross Island – Things To See & Do in Andaman & Nicobar Islands
Samudrika marine Museum is another famous museum in Port Blair where there are various marine species and their characteristics are stored and described. The extinct varieties of sea urchin, sea horses, jelly fishes, star fishes and many more are stored.

Visiting to Andaman and Nicobar Islands was an experience in itself. I totally loved being there. And not to forget, Snorkeling, that was something I owe my whole trip to. You must visit at least once in your lifetime. It’s totally worth it.
